Our client is a mining multinational dedicated to the extraction of minerals, based in Europe. They have operations all around the world, several of them in Chile and Peru. They are currently seeking a **Risk Business Partner**, who'll act as a strategic partner to the asset, focusing on providing risk insights, supporting the business to connect risk management to performance objectives, fostering cross\-disciplinary collaboration, enabling ownership through coaching, and offering oversight on risk\-taking activities across all risk types (Social Performance, Project, H\&S, environment, asset integrity, business, compliance, etc). Some responsibilities include: * Support the Asset in integrating risk informed decision\-making into key business decisions and processes such as business planning, LoA, Budget, capital allocation, and material change management activities. * Maintain and administer the site risk register within the enterprise risk management system, ensuring Risk and Control Owners remain accountable for accurate, up\-to\-date risk and control information. * Provide guidance to the asset on the application of risk management tools, techniques and resources including acting as the focal point for project risk management queries. * Engage in field activities with Risk and Control Owners to challenge and validate control verification effectiveness. * Coach and guide Risk and Control Owners to own, manage and monitor their risk and control activities, including reviews, action plans, and status updates. * Prepare and act as the secretariat for GM\-led Asset Risk \& Assurance Committees (RACs). * Generate and communicate site\-wide risk management metrics to deliver actionable risk intelligence. * Guiding General Manager and providing oversight on the asset risk profile. * Coach Control Owners in strengthening critical controls by enhancing performance standards, improving CCVs, and driving focused time in the field, led by Risk Owners. * Deliver site\-wide training and ensure Risk and Control Owners have sufficient skills to own and manage risks and controls. * Influence the establishing of Risk Owner led Steering Committees to ensure ongoing risk ownership and oversight. * Prepare quarterly updates on material risk information to support executive business reviews for department level risks (QBR). * Lead on\-boarding sessions for new Risk and Control Owners to ensure effective integration into risk management processes.
