We’re waiting for you! **DBA / DBA Engineer** Primary responsibility for performance analysis, optimization, and functional evaluation of data platform components (such as Stored Procedures, scripts, and execution plans). Additionally, supports administration, monitoring, and assurance of availability, capacity, and operational continuity. Scope includes SQL and NoSQL technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB), as well as any new platforms incorporated into the technology architecture. Acts as the technical reference focused on data platform *performance* and governance. Plays a key role in in-depth evaluation of queries, indexes, data models, ETL/ELT processes, and interaction patterns across various platforms. Also participates in defining and applying standards for designing, developing, and promoting efficient Data Components. All the above while strategically collaborating to resolve incidents, providing advanced diagnostics at the engine and data logic levels, complementing efforts with Infrastructure, Operations, Development, and Architecture teams to maintain stable, secure platforms aligned with organizational standards. **Role Requirements** **Education and Core Experience** * University degree in Computer Engineering or related fields. * Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience as a Database Administrator (DBA). **Core Technical Knowledge** * Comprehensive expertise in database administration: maintenance, optimization, backups (backup/recovery), and high availability. * Analytical capability to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and implement efficient solutions—always assessing technological and business impact. **Competencies and Skills** * **Multidisciplinary Collaboration:** Excellent communication skills to interact and align with Development, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Operations teams. * **Technical Governance:** Proactive ability to define, document, and promote best practices and quality standards. **Desirable** * Architecture and Modeling: Experience applying relational design, normalization, ACID properties, data integrity, and advanced scalability and performance criteria. *If you enjoy challenges and being part of a major company, don’t hesitate to apply.*
