OUR COMMUNITY COMPRISES MORE THAN 1,000 COLLABORATORS AND FACULTY MEMBERS, OVER 30,000 STUDENTS, AND MORE THAN 25,000 GRADUATES. **Job Responsibilities:** At IACC, we transform lives through online education, and we are seeking our new Data Lake Technical Lead to design, maintain, and evolve the institutional Data Lake on AWS—ensuring timely and reliable integration of multiple data sources, efficient processing within the Lakehouse, and delivery of consistent datamarts for analytics, reporting, and decision-making. * Manage and prioritize the Data Lake backlog: Maintain a clear backlog of integrations, enhancements, and requirements (technical and functional), prioritizing them based on institutional impact. * Integrate new data sources from internal systems and SaaS platforms: Develop pipelines using Glue, Lambda, or equivalent services; orchestrate workflows and manage permissions. * Process, clean, and transform data for the Lakehouse: Create ETL/ELT jobs, apply data quality standards, and optimize datasets for Athena. * Ensure technical governance of the Data Lake: Define technical standards for ingestion, storage, and versioning; coordinate with the Data Governance team. * Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Systems teams: Participate in ceremonies, discovery sessions, and functional analysis. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** Proven experience with AWS (Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, S3). Advanced SQL proficiency + Python. **Desirable:** * Experience in higher education institutions. * BI knowledge (Power BI, Tableau). * CI/CD and basic DevOps experience.
