This full-time position, offered under a Temporary Services Contract for pre- and postnatal replacement, aims to promote, manage, and support application and award processes for externally funded projects for faculty members, ensuring efficient management from planning through reporting. Key responsibilities: Promote and coordinate external project applications and awards; accompany all stages of Fondecyt projects (Initiation, Postdoctoral, and Regular): training, application, implementation, and reporting; support applications and registration of ANID and other national and international funding projects; coordinate with the Library Directorate for knowledge management; collaborate in updating the Universidad Alberto Hurtado Academic Productivity Registry System; respond to emergent requests from the Directorate. Requirements: Professional with a bachelor’s degree or university degree, preferably in Social Sciences or Data Science; minimum 2 years of experience in university research administration; knowledge of the research cycle, academic application and publication processes, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms, OneDrive, SharePoint); desirable expertise in Power BI, Airtable, Tableau, Bibliometrix, and experience with digital repositories (DSpace CRIS, Dataverse).
