Job Summary: A leading maritime industry company is seeking a Management Control Engineer to analyze, control, and improve financial and budgetary processes, thereby supporting managerial decision-making. Participation in process improvement projects using AI tools. * Full-time position * Engineer * Valparaíso Region * Valparaíso A leading maritime industry company is currently seeking a Management Control Engineer for its Administration and Finance Department, with the objective of continuously analyzing, controlling, and improving the company’s financial and budgetary management processes, providing critical insights that add value and timely support to managerial decision-making. Main Responsibilities: * Support the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. * Analyze Income Statements and prepare branch-level explanations, consolidating information at the national level. * Build and maintain management reports and dashboards (Power BI) to support monthly reporting for the Board of Directors. * Monitor and track expenses, identifying significant deviations across corporate departments. * Support the preparation of explanations, presentations, and committee materials for management and corporate stakeholders. * Participate in process improvement projects, proposing automation or new analytical approaches (including the use of AI tools). **Desired Profile** ------------------ University education (Civil Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, Commercial Engineering with specialization in Optimization, or related field). **Required Knowledge:** Power Query, basic SQL, VBA or macros, SAP or other ERP systems. Finance. Basic accounting. Intermediate-level Power BI. AI tools applied to productivity and analysis (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). Intermediate-level Excel (pivot tables, analytical formulas).
