Risk Prevention Technician or Engineer (Junior / Trainee) at Norte Verde SPA, a national leader in the circular economy and recycling sector, seeking a professional passionate about safety, proactive, and eager to learn and grow with us. Job Objective: To learn, support, and safeguard the occupational safety and health (OSH) of our workers. Your mission will be to identify, assess, and control risks, promoting a preventive culture from day one to reduce workplace accidents and occupational illnesses. Key Responsibilities (We’ll train you to lead these!): - Supervise on-site compliance with OSH policies, Ministry of Health (Minsal) protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and machinery. - Support incident and workplace accident investigations both at our facilities and on-site with major clients. - Design and update risk matrices, safe work procedures (SWPs), and instructional materials in collaboration with the team. - Coordinate occupational medical examinations with the workers’ compensation mutual (Law 16\.744\) and implement the annual training program, including 5-minute safety talks. - Actively advise the Joint Safety Committee. - Monitor on-site order, cleanliness, evacuation routes, and resource optimization in storage and production areas. Requirements: Education: Risk Prevention Technician or Engineer (recent graduate). Experience: 0–3 years of experience (your professional internship counts!). Knowledge: Theoretical understanding of Law 16\.744 and strong motivation to apply it practically. Skills: High proactivity, excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and enthusiasm for sustainability and recycling.
