Senior Automation and Load Testing Specialist (Python) **AGTEC**, a company specializing in technology services and solutions, is looking for a **Senior Automation and Load Testing Specialist** to join a major client in the financial sector and lead strategic initiatives related to performance testing, automation, and transactional capacity of critical platforms. We seek a professional with solid experience in **Python, load testing tools, statistical analysis, and coordination of complex technical initiatives**, capable of interacting with local and international teams to ensure proper planning and execution of high-impact tests. **Location:** Las Condes, Santiago, Chile **Work Mode:** Hybrid (2 days per week onsite) **Your Mission** ------------- Lead the planning, coordination, automation, and execution of load testing on critical business platforms, ensuring data availability, proper environment preparation, acquisition of test data, and generation of technical and executive metrics to support informed decision-making. **✅ Key Responsibilities** ----------------------------------- * Collect and analyze historical transaction volumes (TPS) from corporate systems. * Design and coordinate load testing plans for critical applications. * Lead regional working sessions with teams from Chile, Mexico, and Peru. * Manage acquisition and custody of synthetic test data for load testing. * Coordinate testing schedules, execution windows, and cross-team dependencies. * Prepare and present initiatives in governance and CAB meetings. * Automate processes and tasks using Python. * Execute and optimize performance and stress tests. * Generate technical and executive reports with results, findings, and recommendations. * Analyze performance, capacity, and transactional behavior metrics. * Collaborate closely with business, operations, architecture, and development teams. **Mandatory Requirements** -------------------------- ### **Experience** ✔ Senior-level experience in automation, performance testing, or quality engineering. ✔ Experience leading load testing initiatives and coordinating multiple stakeholders. ✔ Experience in high-transaction-volume corporate environments. ### **Tools and Technologies** ✔ Advanced Python. ✔ JMeter. ✔ Experience with performance testing tools such as: * Locust * K6 * K6 Browser * Equivalent automation and load testing tools ### **Analysis and Reporting** ✔ Analytical and statistical capability to interpret results. ✔ Experience producing: * Technical reports * Executive summaries * Performance dashboards and KPIs ### **Management and Coordination** ✔ Management of test schedules and execution windows. ✔ Coordination of multidisciplinary teams and vendors. ✔ Presentation of initiatives in technology governance committees or forums. * **Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Experience:** * Banking or financial services. * Load testing on digital channels. * Highly critical transactional systems. * Monitoring and observability. * Data analysis and visualization tools. **Key Competencies** ---------------------- * Leadership and coordination ability. * Effective communication with both technical and executive stakeholders. * Results-oriented mindset. * Strong analytical capability. * Proactivity and autonomy. * Adaptability and collaborative teamwork. * Ability to operate effectively in complex and dynamic environments.
