We promote diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplaces At Grupo Empresas Geoblast, a leader in mining services, we are seeking our next Junior Geologist to join our team at a Borehole Sampling Facility located in the Atacama Region. As this is a position based on-site, we will prioritize local talent from Copiapó, Tierra Amarilla, and nearby communes. **Job Mission** Support the execution of geological and geotechnical borehole mapping activities, ensuring accurate recording, description, and digitization of technical information in accordance with the company’s quality, safety, and established procedural standards, thereby contributing to the achievement of the project’s operational objectives. **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct geological and geotechnical borehole mapping across various SSTT areas. * Maintain mapping management control. * Deliver reports to Senior Geologists. * Support responses to project requirements to meet departmental goals. **Job Requirements** * Professional degree in Geology. * Up to 1 year of experience in geological or geotechnical borehole mapping. * Experience in geological sampling facilities, drilling campaigns, or mining exploration projects is desirable. * Professional internships conducted in the mining industry will be valued. **Additional Requirements** * Valid Class B driver’s license. (desirable) * Availability to work on a 4x4 shift system. * Residence in the Atacama Region, preferably in Copiapó, Tierra Amarilla, or nearby communes.
