Open to individuals with disabilities At **Grupo Empresas Geoblast**, a leader in mining services, we are currently seeking our next **Geological Sample Assistant** to join a major mining operation located in the **Atacama Region**, operating under a **4x4 shift system**. As this position is based onsite, we will prioritize local talent from **Tierra Amarilla, Copiapó, and nearby communes**. General Requirements: * Education: Technical degree in Geology or related field, with at least 1 year of experience; or completed secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience. * Availability to work under a **4x4 shift system**. * Residence in **Tierra Amarilla, Copiapó, or nearby communes of the Atacama Region**. * Valid Class B driver’s license with at least **2 years of validity**. Main Responsibilities: * Execute geological sample processing and quality control. * Support sample preparation, transportation, and shipment to laboratories. * Perform basic geotechnical measurements, XRF readings, and record information in corporate systems. * Manage geological documentation and perform basic equipment maintenance. * Support field activities, including vehicle operation as required, while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Specific Requirements: * Knowledge of geological sampling operations and data recording. * Proficiency with technological tools and geological information systems. * Commitment to compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations. * Class B driver’s license and experience driving 4x4 vehicles or ¾-ton trucks is desirable, depending on the role. * Experience in core cutting and certifications related to job functions is desirable. **At Grupo Empresas Geoblast**, we foster diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplaces.
