Coordination with Geology, Exploration, and QA/QC teams Job Description We are seeking a **Geochemical Laboratory Analyst** to perform geological and geochemical sample analyses, ensuring reliable, traceable, and timely results for exploration and mining projects. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, process, and analyze **rock, soil, sediment, and mineral samples**. * Perform geochemical sample preparation and analysis techniques according to established procedures. * Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. * Conduct quality controls, calibrations, and result verifications. * Apply **QA/QC** procedures and manage control samples. * Record results and maintain sample traceability. * Identify out-of-specification results and report deviations. * Prepare analytical reports and supporting documentation. * Maintain laboratory order, cleanliness, and safety standards. * Coordinate with Geology, Exploration, QA/QC, and field teams. Requirements * Technical or university degree in **Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Geology, Laboratory Science, Metallurgy**, or a related field. * Knowledge of sample preparation and analytical techniques such as **AA, ICP\-OES/ICP\-MS, XRF**, or others. * Desired experience in analyzing **copper, gold, silver, molybdenum, and other elements**. * Familiarity with **QA/QC procedures, standards, blanks, duplicates, and traceability**. * Basic/intermediate proficiency in **Excel** and laboratory information management systems. * Desired knowledge of **ISO/IEC 17025** standards. * Availability to work in the laboratory and/or on-site, as required. * Rigor, attention to detail, analytical capability, and commitment to safety.
