**ARAUCO** seeks a candidate holding a Higher Technical Degree and/or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, and/or industrial automation—or a closely related field—with at least one year of work experience in industrial plants*,* to fill the position of **Electrical Maintenance Operator** at our Arauco Wood Complex.
**The purpose** of this position is to operate the anti-stain bath production line and maintain productive process equipment, complying with safety, quality, and productivity regulations, ensuring line continuity and maintaining machines’ technical standards within the plant. Activities and contingencies will be conducted under the direction of the Operations Supervision team. Always safeguarding compliance with Arauco’s Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety policies.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Comply with the Company’s safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations, identifying risk conditions and actions affecting people and facilities.
* Conduct pre-operational machine inspections according to the production line schedule, following established safety and environmental protocols defined by applicable regulations and considering the daily production schedule.
* Operate the machine according to the production line schedule, while adhering to quality standards, environmental safety protocols, and regulations governing the activity and the company.
* Monitor the machine’s operational indicators.
* Perform controls and replenishments of the wood-protective solution to ensure its effectiveness.
* Ensure timber entry into the anti-stain bath according to its age.
* Execute maintenance actions and implement equipment improvements to ensure safe and productive operation, maintaining standardized processes according to the company-defined industrial safety and hygiene procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness and order in the work environment.
* Keep tools and equipment under one’s responsibility in good condition.
* Record consumption and production data for treated batches.
**Requirements:**
* Candidate must hold a Higher Technical Degree and/or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical engineering, industrial automation, or a closely related field (Mandatory).
* Minimum one year of experience in industrial processes (Mandatory).
* Basic-to-intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Mandatory).
* Computer system proficiency (Desirable).
