We're looking for someone like you to join our **\#RumboSacyr** and help us continue improving people's lives. **Job Functions and Responsibilities:** * Modeling various structures such as bridges, civil works, pedestrian crossings, railway stations and their associated installations: sanitary, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as generating drawings from these models. * Incorporating parameters into modeled elements so that when native models are exported to open IFC format, they contain not only the model with its specified level of detail but also the corresponding parameters and parameter groups, such as those related to element location, geometry, physical properties, costs, scheduling, among others. * When required, be able to establish links between models through collaborative cloud-based work using Revit Links. For example, when modeling a station, bring into the main model a Revit link containing the track model to position it correctly and thereby generate a station site plan. * Follow instructions from direct supervisors and the BIM Coordinator, providing support on tasks within their area of responsibility. * Comply with guidelines defined in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) regarding modeling and drawing production related to their areas of expertise. * Identify interferences during the modeling process within native models and report them to the BIM Coordinator to determine next steps. * Ensure geometric accuracy and information quality of models. * Apply color filters to visually represent modeled entities according to standards established in the BEP. For example, potable water pipes should be displayed using a specific color code. * Establish proper project browser organization within models as defined in the BEP. * Generate quantity takeoffs from models for requests from other departments and for quantification and reinforcement tables associated with drawings. * Perform information exchange in different formats. * Implement correct coding, nomenclature, project browser structure in models, and other requirements outlined in the BEP. * Propose improvements in workflows, templates, protocols, and processes. * Automate repetitive tasks using Dynamo or develop best practices through appropriate scripts. * Detail and manage reviews and versions of developed models/drawings. * Generate drawings from the model in DWG and PDF formats. * Create and manage parameters to optimize the modeling and drawing generation process. * Follow BIM protocols relevant to their area of expertise as defined in the BEP. * Pursue training through relevant courses/certifications for professional development. For example, a Dynamo course to optimize repetitive tasks, or parametric MEP family modeling courses, to be used in current or future projects. **We are seeking candidates with the following requirements and competencies:** * Minimum of 8 years of total experience, including at least 5 years working on projects using BIM methodology related to architectural and MEP modeling, along with relevant certifications/courses.
