We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Draftsman to work in Santiago City. The primary purpose of this role is to carry out basic and detailed engineering for the company's PV and BESS projects, ensuring efficient integration of electrical systems in compliance with local regulations and international standards established by the IEC, as well as ensuring the quality of deliverables produced by the engineering unit. Responsibilities: 1\. Collaborate in finalizing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects in the bidding phase, including cable sizing calculations. 2\. Prepare layout drawings and single-line diagrams during the bidding phases according to project technical requirements. Perform PVsyst estimations for projects under bidding. These drawings must be developed in accordance with design guidelines provided by design engineers. 3\. Actively collaborate in performing redlines with on-site construction teams. 4\. Provide technical support to on-site construction teams regarding aspects related to drawing changes made during the construction phase. 5\. Develop technical specifications for procurement quotations. 6\. Implement electrical designs for photovoltaic plants, covering efficient layouts of panels, inverters, transformers, and monitoring systems. 7\. Carry out any tasks related to their area of expertise and/or department as instructed by their direct supervisor. Requirements: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Knowledge: certifications or licenses: Knowledge of electrical system design for photovoltaic parks, strong understanding of Chilean regulations related to the electricity sector, familiarity with standards and regulations from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). * Software: · PVsyst · AutoCAD 2D and 3D · Pvcase · ETAP * Experience: 3 to 5 years of involvement in renewable energy projects, specifically photovoltaic parks. * English level: Intermediate English.
