Job Summary: We are seeking a BIM Modeler for industrial engineering projects, responsible for modeling, interdisciplinary coordination, and clash detection across various disciplines. Part of a company that creates sustainable solutions Job Description At AFRY, we are expanding our operations to the city of Concepción and are therefore looking for professionals with experience in BIM modeling for industrial engineering projects, to join our Process Industries (PID) business unit. * Development and BIM modeling of projects across various disciplines, such as structural, mechanical, electrical, and automation, according to project requirements. * Interdisciplinary coordination with different departments to ensure proper model integration. * Early clash detection and support in proposing solutions. * Generation of layouts, views, and construction drawings from BIM models. * Support in preparing technical documentation associated with the project. Requirements * Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related fields). * Experience in BIM modeling for engineering projects. * Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, among others. * Knowledge of model coordination and clash detection. * Experience in producing drawings and technical documentation from BIM models. * Knowledge of quantity take-off extraction. * Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate across disciplines. * Proactivity, organization, and attention to detail.
