Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the accounting of premiums, commissions, and treasury activities, guaranteeing financial order and control within insurance operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure accurate accounting of insurance premiums and commissions 2. Guarantee correct recording of treasury and banking operations 3. Participate in accounting closings and support audits You will be responsible for ensuring that accounting accurately reflects the movement of premiums and commissions, guaranteeing order, reconciliation, and financial control within insurance operations. Additionally, you must ensure that all treasury operations and banking transactions are correctly recorded in the accounting system. * Reconciliations with insurance companies * Review and reconcile collected premiums vs. invoiced premiums. * Verify commissions agreed upon with insurers and their accurate settlement. * Prepare insurance reports * Address dealer inquiries regarding commission settlements * Monitor pending payments, premium discrepancies, or adjustments. * Record, analyze, and reconcile accounting accounts. * Ensure accurate accounting of treasury movements and banking operations. * Prepare reports and variance analyses. * Participate in monthly accounting closing processes. * Support internal and external audits. * Certified Public Accountant or Auditor * 1 year of prior experience in a similar role (preferred) * Intermediate to Advanced English (verifiable) * Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Access, and database management) * Attention to detail and ability to work with precision * Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines * Teamwork GM Financial is an equal opportunity employer.
