Professional development and team diversity. **Job Description** ---------------------- Sierra Gorda SCM is seeking an Environmental Engineer responsible for: Establishing and coordinating activities that promote environmental protection across all company areas, contributing to compliance with the Environmental Policy in accordance with current legal regulations, with the aim of reducing industry’s impact on all environmental components. Key Responsibilities: * Implement and enforce the unit’s environmental monitoring program, environmental inspections, and activities required for the operation of the environmental management system. * Coordinate and implement engineering, operational, legal, inspection, and environmental control services required by the environmental management system. * Verify and evaluate results from the monitoring program and compliance with environmental regulations within the company. * Design and carry out updates to procedures, records, and control forms. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field (e.g., Natural Resources). * 4–5 years of professional experience. * 2–3 years of experience in this role. * Experience managing performance indicators. * Experience in projects and applying regulatory standards. * Class B driver’s license. * Availability to work on a 7x7 shift.
