Excellent working environment **RECRUITMENT NOTICE** **FIRE ASSAY LABORATORY ASSISTANT** **Geolaquim**, a geological and chemical laboratory in Copiapó, specialized in geological and metallurgical sample analysis for the mining industry. We are seeking to hire a **Fire Assay Laboratory Assistant**, responsible for performing sample weighing, fusion, cupellation, and digestion processes in the fire assay workshop, ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures required by our accreditation. **Main Responsibilities** * Execute fire assay process stages, including weighing, charge preparation, fusion, cupellation, and acid digestion of samples. * Operate equipment and instruments associated with the process, ensuring control of established operational parameters. * Record and maintain traceability of activities performed at each stage of analysis. * Timely deliver processed samples for subsequent reading and analysis. * Comply with quality, safety, housekeeping, and control procedures defined by the laboratory’s management system. Deliver processed samples to the reading room. **Requirements** * **Intermediate- or university-level technician in metallurgy.
