At Sodimac, we are looking for a Product Development Specialist! What is the mission of this role? To ensure the technical quality of products by coordinating improvements, testing, and certifications that meet defined standards and safeguard customer trust and brand reputation. Responsibilities: * Analyze and control product technical information, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements. * Coordinate product improvement implementation with suppliers and internal departments, tracking defined action plans. * Manage testing, certification, and technical validation processes for both existing and newly introduced products. * Verify compliance with quality standards during product incorporation into the company’s commercial portfolio. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through analysis of technical and quality data. * Support training initiatives and collaborate with various teams to strengthen the organization’s quality culture. * Administer technical specifications and associated product documentation, ensuring their availability and timely updates on corporate platforms. Requirements: * Professional degree in Commercial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field. * 1–3 years of relevant work experience in similar roles (preferred). * Experience in areas related to product development, quality assurance, certifications, or regulatory compliance. * Advanced Excel proficiency.
