Job Description We are seeking a **Senior Structural Calculation Engineer for Mining Structures** to develop, review, and validate structural designs for mining and industrial projects, ensuring strength, stability, safety, and compliance with current Chilean regulations. Key Responsibilities * Develop and review **structural calculations and designs** for steel, reinforced concrete, and industrial structures. * Design structures for **mining plants, crushers, conveyor belts, platforms, buildings, and equipment supports**. * Prepare calculation reports, technical specifications, and engineering documentation. * Perform static, dynamic, seismic, and special operational condition load analyses. * Model structures using specialized software and review results. * Review structural drawings and coordinate interferences with other disciplines. * Provide technical supervision of engineering deliverables and review contractor documentation. * Participate in interdisciplinary reviews, constructability studies, and site visits. * Propose efficient technical solutions considering cost, fabrication, and erection. * Ensure compliance with **Chilean standards, project standards, and structural safety requirements**. Requirements * Degree in **Civil Structural Engineering**, **Civil Engineering**, or related field. * Proven experience in **steel and reinforced concrete structures**. * Proficiency in **SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, RAM Structural System**, or other structural analysis software. * Knowledge of **seismic analysis, connection design, foundations, and industrial structures**. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD**, and familiarity with Revit/BIM is desirable. * Familiarity with **NCh433, NCh2369, NCh430, AISC, ACI**, and standards applicable to mining projects in Chile. * Experience in **EPC/EPCM projects** and third-party engineering review is desirable. * Availability for site and field visits as required by the project. * Strong analytical ability, sound technical judgment, leadership, and quality orientation.
