Mechanical and Electrical Engineer / Technician Inversiones y Servicios GB Location: Barrio Industrial Placilla, Valparaíso An industrial services and maintenance company is looking to hire a Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical Engineer or Technician—or a related field professional—with proven experience in equipment maintenance and diagnostics. We seek a responsible, autonomous, methodical, and quality-oriented professional capable of diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and working according to technical procedures and safety standards. Requirements Technical or higher-level professional degree in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electricity, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of equipment, vehicles, or machinery. Solid knowledge of mechanics and electricity. Proficiency in using tools and measurement/diagnostic instruments. Ability to interpret manuals and technical documentation. Class B driver’s license (desirable). Availability for workshop and field work. Main Responsibilities Diagnosis and repair of internal combustion engines and mechanical systems. Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. Diagnosis and repair of 12 VDC and 460 VAC electrical systems and industrial systems. Detection and resolution of electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults. Conducting tests and post-repair verifications. Recording completed work and proper use of tools, spare parts, and equipment. Compliance with company safety procedures and quality standards. Providing technical support to the team and participating in process improvement initiatives. Conditions Net salary: $700\.000 – $900\.000, depending on experience and competencies. Initial fixed-term contract, with potential continuation based on performance. Work schedule at Barrio Industrial Placilla, Valparaíso.
