




R\&Q Ingeniería, an Engineering and Projects company with over 45 years of experience, is seeking a **Senior Geomechanical Engineer** to join an important bidding process in the Mining area in Region II, Antofagasta. **Estimated duration of the contract to be bid: 36 months** **Requirements:** A qualified Mining Civil Engineer with at least 15 years of general experience and 10 years of demonstrable specific experience in underground mining, performing tasks such as advance control, checking and analysis of instrumentation and monitoring, mine macro sequencing, and analysis of rock mass response to caving processes. Additionally, the candidate must have experience in underground mine support design within mining engineering projects, serving as project manager or team leader. The candidate must have demonstrable knowledge and experience in blasting and seismic instrumentation. The candidate must possess demonstrable knowledge, skills, and experience using geotechnical software from the Rocscience platform (Unwedge, Dips, Examine), seismic analysis software (JDI or Vantage), and mine planning software (such as Vulcan, GEMS, or Datamine), thus being able to interpret field-collected data and perform geotechnical analyses to support client decision-making. Class B driver's license required. Shift system: 4x3\.
