Participates in the training of young professionals, activity planning, technical document review, and leadership of multidisciplinary projects. Contributes engineering solutions aligned with international standards (GISTM, CDA, ICOLD), promoting collaborative work both within and beyond the specialty. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide technical guidance to internal engineers (Junior, C and B Project Engineers) for the development of technical documents and proposals related to the Tailings specialty. * Train young professionals and participate in specialty development activities. * Provide technical approval for specialty documents prepared by engineers (Junior, C and B) and/or external specialists, prior to final validation by the Project Manager. * Plan activities and prepare discipline-specific reports, perform follow-up, control, and coordination with other disciplines to meet work programs related to tailings storage facility projects at various engineering levels. * Coordinate projects and/or lead as Discipline Lead in multidisciplinary tailings storage facility projects. * Contribute and implement engineering solutions from their technical specialty for the development of complex, large-scale multidisciplinary projects related to tailings storage facilities, for subsequent validation by the Project Manager. Include knowledge of international standards related to tailings storage facilities and their implementation (GISTM, CDA, ICOLD, etc.). * Promote teamwork both within and outside the specialty. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Qualifications and Experience:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Civil Works, Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Mechanics). * Verifiable experience of 8 to 10 years. * Essential experience in Mining. * Proven experience in producing specific deliverables related to the Tailings specialty, such as Water Balances, Tailings Storage Facility Growth Plans and Simulations, FMEA/ALARP Analysis, and aspects related to Tailings Storage Facility Closure. * Experience leading teams. * Specific knowledge of implementing the global tailings storage facility standard in mining companies (GISTM); operation of tailings storage facilities and associated engineering; tailings transport and distribution; international standards: GISTM, CDA, others. * Availability to travel. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, effective communication and leadership skills. Good interpersonal skills and a strong focus on teamwork, with an integrated vision in tailings storage facility projects.
