Opportunity to improve reliability and lifespan of critical equipment About the Role **Donglong Industrial Management and Commercial Services** is seeking a **Maintenance Planner** to join our team in **Valdivia, Los Ríos Region**. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and tracking preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities, ensuring equipment, resources, spare parts, and personnel are available to execute work safely and efficiently. You will work closely with **maintenance, operations, production, procurement, warehouse, engineering, and risk prevention** teams to coordinate priorities, reduce unplanned downtime, and improve asset reliability. Your Impact on the Team As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in operational continuity and asset availability. Your work will contribute to: * Reducing unplanned downtime. * Improving adherence to maintenance plans. * Optimizing utilization of technical resources. * Ensuring timely availability of spare parts and materials. * Enhancing traceability of work orders. * Strengthening reliability and lifespan of critical equipment. Key Responsibilities * Develop preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans. * Schedule work orders according to operational priorities. * Coordinate required resources, personnel, tools, and spare parts for each intervention. * Maintain an up-to-date maintenance calendar. * Track completion of scheduled work. * Review maintenance backlog and prioritize pending activities. * Coordinate intervention windows with operations and production. * Prepare technical documentation and work orders. * Keep information updated in CMMS or ERP systems. * Analyze execution times, failure frequency, and program compliance. * Prepare maintenance KPI reports and indicators. * Coordinate with procurement and warehouse regarding spare parts availability. * Identify risks of material shortages and propose alternatives. * Support planning of scheduled shutdowns and major maintenance activities. * Analyze equipment history to improve maintenance frequencies and strategies. * Support maintenance cost control and budgeting processes. * Participate in planning and operational follow-up meetings. * Coordinate with contractors and suppliers as applicable. * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and maintenance records. * Propose improvements aimed at increasing asset reliability and availability. Requirements * **3–5 years of experience** in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance, reliability, or related fields. * Prior experience as a **Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Scheduler, Maintenance Analyst**, or similar role. * Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. * Experience working with work orders and weekly or monthly planning. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and Microsoft Office. * Experience using **SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Oracle EAM, Fracttal**, or other CMMS or ERP systems is preferred. * Ability to interpret technical information and operational priorities. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * High level of organization and planning ability. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Strong communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work with technical and operational teams.
