




**Major mining supplier company requires:** Operations Manager / Lifting Champion for a mining site in the northern zone. **Job Objective:** Coordinate contract operations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company standards. **Job Functions:** Carry out and support operational processes in execution areas established with the client, following work procedures according to technical standards and safety regulations. Meet objectives set by the Contract Administrator. Lead and manage human and material resources for the project, identifying environmental opportunities regarding improvements, optimization, and development of new business. Delegate services to supervisors and ensure that 100% of services are documented and processed. Maintain mechanical control of individual equipment and equipment groups. Verify that the area and access roads are consolidated and leveled. Verify that the maneuvering area is sufficiently spacious so that the crane does not encounter obstacles when extending the boom. Check for presence of excavations and their potential impact on the maneuver. Verify that the load weight corresponds to that specified in the rigging diagrams. Verify that distances, heights, and clear areas match those established in the diagram. Verify that selected lifting components are the ones required to perform the maneuver safely. Be aware of the correct position to occupy during the maneuver. Must be able to read and interpret crane load capacity charts and lifting component tables. Must consider current weather conditions during loading and unloading operations and how they might affect normal work progress. Ensure operational continuity of the fleet, allowing satisfaction of customer needs. Efficiently manage company equipment and tools. Ensure proper execution of supply processes (Procurement, Subcontracts, Supply Stock Management). Ensure compliance with current labor legislation. Maintain a positive work environment and facilitate professional development of supervised personnel. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain fluid, in-person communication with the client. Verify and ensure on-site compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and safety regulations—whether legal, regulatory, company-specific, or client-specific—particularly those aimed at informing workers of risks associated with their tasks; must prevent activities conducted outside of standards. Ensure compliance with risk prevention plans related to the company's HSEC system and client programs. Lead compliance with risk prevention plans related to the client’s program and the company’s HSEC system. Report to management any deviation or non-compliance with policies, standards, procedures, or regulations observed during operations, without prejudice to the duty to immediately implement urgent corrective actions, including work suspension. Conduct objective and responsible performance evaluations of subordinate personnel within the timeframes required by the organization.
