Position Summary: Finning is seeking Storekeepers to manage, safeguard, and maintain mechanical tools, as well as handle spare parts and warehouse dispatches under a mining contract. Finning, the strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill the role of **Storekeepers** for the **Chuquicamata Underground** contract under a 7x7 shift system. The Storekeeper must perform activities in the mining contract’s warehouse or store regarding spare parts, receipt, preparation, and dispatch of goods to customers, warehouse administration, and safety. As the primary responsibility, the Storekeeper must manage, safeguard, and maintain mechanical tools used in the mechanical and electrical workshops on site; maintain inventory records of tools issued to each field and workshop mechanic and electrician; and administer, safeguard, and procure minor consumables for reinforcement work and mechanical repairs. **Job Responsibilities:** * Participate in tool, instrument, and spare parts inventory counts and reconciliations. * Operate a forklift. * Supervise, issue, and manage tools and instruments. * Supervise, issue, and manage PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). * Conduct inventories of tools, instruments, and PPE. * Collect domestic waste. * Handle shipments of APD samples. * Clean spare parts shelving. * Conduct inventories of mechanics’ toolboxes. **Requirements:** * Secondary-level education in fields related to this position. * Knowledge of basic mechanics (familiarity with all types of machinery and tools). User-level computer literacy. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * SAP proficiency. * Preferably reside in Calama or Region II.
