Experience with heavy machinery and trucks **Position: Mechanic** **Company: CJR Chile LOC** **Position Objective** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on company equipment and trucks, ensuring optimal performance, operational availability, and compliance with safety standards. **Main Responsibilities:** Caterpillar Equipment Maintenance * Perform preventive maintenance on Caterpillar equipment according to manufacturer guidelines. * Replace filters, oils, and fluids. * Inspect and adjust hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. * Record completed work and track machine operating hours. MAN Truck Maintenance * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MAN trucks. * Inspect diesel engines, braking systems, transmissions, and suspensions. * Replace worn components. * Verify conditions for approval of technical inspections. * Lubrication. * Monitor oil, coolant, and other fluid levels. * Maintain an up-to-date maintenance schedule. * Prevent failures caused by premature wear. **Required Competencies** * Experience with heavy machinery and trucks. * Teamwork and accountability. * Class B driver's license Employment Type: Full-time
