Job Summary
**Autre Voyage Travel Services Chile SpA** is seeking an organized, customer-service-oriented, and proactive **Reservation Supervisor** to join our travel services team in Temuco. As the Reservation Supervisor, you will coordinate daily reservation activities, support the reservation team, supervise reservations and customer requests, and contribute to ensuring travelers receive accurate, timely, and professional service. You will work closely with reservation staff, customer service personnel, travel operations teams, suppliers, hotels, carriers, and management to coordinate reservations, resolve service issues, maintain accurate reservation records, and facilitate seamless travel arrangements. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in reservations, travel services, tourism, hospitality, customer service, reservation operations, contact centers, or similar customer-facing environments. Candidates with strong reservation or customer service experience who are ready to assume a supervisory role are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily reservation activities.
Provide practical guidance and support to reservation team members.
Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, and other authorized communication channels.
Coordinate new reservations, reservation modifications, cancellations, and customer requests.
Monitor reservation queues, pending requests, deadlines, and follow-up activities.
Review reservation information to verify accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate travel preparations with hotels, transportation providers, tour operators, and other authorized suppliers.
Provide customers with clear information regarding reservations, availability, booking conditions, and travel services.
Assist with more complex reservation requests and customer service issues.
Support resolution of reservation discrepancies, schedule changes, and service disruptions.
Escalate specialized or complex matters to the relevant manager or service provider.
Oversee reservation workflows and assist in distributing workload across the team.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, customers, suppliers, and services.
Support team planning and daily operational coverage as needed.
Prepare reservation reports, reservation summaries, spreadsheets, and operational updates.
Keep information up-to-date in authorized reservation, CRM, and customer service systems.
Coordinate communication among reservations, customer service, travel operations, suppliers, and management.
Support onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing for reservation colleagues.
Monitor customer feedback and identify recurring reservation or service issues.
Contribute to improving reservation procedures, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Prior experience in reservations, travel services, tourism, hospitality, customer service, reservation operations, contact centers, or similar environments is valued.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple reservations, customer requests, and shifting priorities.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
Comfort managing customer concerns and more complex reservation requests.
Proficiency with computers, email, spreadsheets, reservation platforms, and common business applications.
Knowledge of reservation systems, CRM, travel booking systems, property management, or customer service is valued but not mandatory.
General knowledge of travel reservations, accommodation, transportation, tourism, or hospitality is valued.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and service providers.
Comfort providing practical guidance and support to other team members.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a service-oriented environment.
Previous experience in supervision, senior reservations, team leadership, or mentoring is valued but not required for candidates aiming to progress into supervision.
Willingness to learn new reservation platforms, travel products, and operational processes is required.
Relevant academic education, professional training, or equivalent practical experience will be considered.
