Interpret supplied drawings, technical diagrams, and CAD/CAM programs, ensuring accurate data transfer to the CNC system. 2. Prepare and mount tooling and cutting tools (milling cutters, punches, dies, laser nozzles, rollers) onto bending machines, laser cutters, roll forming machines, lathes, and other CNC machines, verifying alignment and clamping according to specifications. 3. Configure machine parameters (feed rates, spindle speeds, laser power, roll forming pressure), load programs, and perform necessary offset corrections to ensure dimensional accuracy. 4. Start up each machine, executing test cycles using scrap material to validate the program and prevent collisions or machining errors. 5. Supervise cutting, bending, roll forming, or turning processes, continuously monitoring surface finish quality and conformity with specified tolerances. 6. Remove finished parts and perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, or coordinate measuring machines (CMM), recording results on quality documentation forms. 7. Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of CNC machines by removing chips, metallic dust, and cutting residues, and replenishing lubricants and coolants per the preventive maintenance schedule.
