We handle a large number of cases annually across our departments, and as a trainee at the court, you will work with administration, civil and criminal cases, enforcement cases, probate cases, and IT. To ensure that you become familiar with all departments, we will prepare an individual training plan for you. Working hours are 37 hours per week including breaks—and you will be covered by a flexible working hours arrangement with fixed working hours between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The fixed core hours correspond to the court’s opening hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The training programme normally lasts two years, during which school-based modules take place continuously at Niels Brock in Copenhagen. You will participate in annual trainee seminars with other trainees from the courts, and an international internship may also be an option. If you are aged 25 or over and have relevant professional experience, your training may potentially be shortened. You must therefore include a recognition of prior learning assessment with your application. Information about this is available from career counsellors at commercial schools.
