We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.*** **ARAUCO seeks a Framework Contracts Engineer to join its Procurement Management team at our corporate offices in San Andrés, Concepción.** ### **Primary Job Objective** Lead ARAUCO’s materials and spare parts procurement strategy across its various operations by managing tendering, negotiation, and contract administration processes—ensuring timely supply, optimizing costs, and building long-term relationships with strategic suppliers, thereby contributing to the operational continuity of our industrial plants. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Define and implement procurement strategies for materials and spare parts categories under responsibility, in coordination with internal customers. * Lead tendering, evaluation, and contract award processes, ensuring competitive commercial terms and reliable supply. * Analyze the supplier market, identifying opportunities for optimization, innovation, and risk mitigation within the supply chain. * Manage contract and supplier performance, monitoring service, compliance, quality, and cost indicators. * Monitor spending category behavior under management, identifying improvement opportunities and efficiencies. * Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Finance departments to understand business needs and ensure appropriate contractual management. * Handle supplier claims, payments, and contingencies, safeguarding adherence to agreed terms. * Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal regulations, and compliance standards across all procurement processes. * Promote continuous improvement and innovation initiatives in procurement and contracting processes. ### **Requirements** * Education: Industrial Civil Engineering, Business Engineering, or related degree. * Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategic procurement, purchasing, tendering, contract management, or procurement—ideally within industrial companies. * Knowledge: + Contract management and tendering processes. + Supplier negotiation. + Market analysis and procurement strategies. + SAP proficiency (desirable). + Intermediate-level Microsoft Office. + Intermediate English (desirable). * Other: + Class B driver’s license. + Availability to work on-site at San Andrés, Concepción. ### **What Competencies Are We Seeking?** We seek individuals with strong analytical ability, results orientation, and negotiation skills.
