Job Description **Administrative Shift Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off, Los Bronces.** **Fixed-term contract: 1 year.** **Purpose:** Responsible for designing, controlling, and reconciling mine planning programs across various unit processes within LB Operations, ensuring compliance with the current plan and that operations proceed safely, efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with technical, environmental, and legal standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare volumetric and spatial reconciliation reports for mine extraction, stockpiles, and dumps, comparing block models and mining sequences to analyze gaps and identify risks. * Develop short-, medium-, and long-term mine production plans (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly), focusing on fleet estimation, mine development, identification of enablers, infrastructure, and projects. * Coordinate with various departments—including mine operations, mine maintenance, geomechanics, geology, geometallurgy, and IROC—to develop an integrated mine plan. * Identify risks associated with LB Operations planning activities, reviewing corresponding control measures in line with operational safety and quality standards. * Estimate fleets for C\&T, P\&T, services, or other requirements to meet current mine plans. * Make daily decisions regarding mine priorities jointly with the operations team. * Continuously identify and evaluate improvement options for developing optimized mine plans. * Ability to perform sensitivity analysis on mine plans. Requirements **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering (Mining specialization). **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in open-pit mining operations and short- to medium-term mine planning. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in mine planning, design, and reconciliation software (e.g., Minesight, Vulcan, Delta, Deswik, etc.). * Knowledge of equipment calculation and fleet sizing.
