***Major company is seeking a Foreign Trade Analyst (COMEX).*** **Requirements:** \- Higher Technical degree in Foreign Trade. \- Minimum of 3 to 5 years in similar positions. \- Desirable experience in the metal-mechanical sector. \- Knowledge of national and international laws according to general foreign trade standards. \- Basic knowledge of tax laws related to foreign trade. \- Ability to handle data and tools for analysis. \- English – Level B1 (intermediate desirable, minimum A2). \- Proactive, organized, and highly motivated. **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate shipments, customs documentation, and international logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to national and international standards. * Maintain constant communication with entities related to logistics operations, customs, operators, agents, shipping companies, suppliers, and customers. * Negotiate with suppliers, carriers, and operators involved in import and export activities. * Track and monitor shipments for all import and export operations. * Evaluate costs and ensure delivery compliance. * Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade agreements, and certifications. * Perform tariff classification of products and manage representation before government agencies for proper operations. * Analyze commercial and financial risks in international transactions. * Guarantee compliance with trade agreements and customs regulations. * Manage tariff restrictions and foreign trade policies. * Prepare freight quotations, reservations, services, and insurance related to COMEX. * Analyze import/export costs including tariffs, taxes, services, and other expenses. * Record and prepare import and export workflows according to operational plans. * Coordinate supplier payments, service fees, and advances.
