




Wood is seeking a Process Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in chemical or petrochemical industry projects, to join our Renewable Energies and Processes business line. The position will be based at Wood's office in Santiago and client offices at various locations across Chile. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. * Chemical Civil Engineer * Proven experience in technical office roles * Availability and experience working on-site * Availability for 100% on-site work * Minimum contract duration of 1 year with potential for extension * Equipment such as piping, pressure vessels, reactors, storage tanks, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and turbines, etc. * Design and review of diagrams such as PFDs, P&IDs, Layouts, etc. * Analysis of Material and Energy Balances for Process and Utility Streams * Calculation memos and Data Sheets for Equipment and Instruments * Review of Technical Specifications and Requisitions * Analysis of Operation and Control Philosophies for industrial processes. * Evaluation of Technical Bids for engineering, construction, and industrial installations. * Preparation of CAPEX and OPEX for industrial projects. * Design and Operation of Fire Protection Systems in industrial facilities * Development and participation in Risk Analyses (HAZOP). * Knowledge of industry design standards.
