**SIAM Maintenance Planner/Programmer (1 vacancy)** **Mechanical Engineers** =================================================================================================== ### **CONTACT INFORMATION** **Company:** SQM **Economic activity:** Extraction of minerals for the manufacture of fertilizers and chemical products n.e.c. ### **DESCRIPTION** Main tasks and/or responsibilities: \- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and installations of the SIAM system (pumps, motors, panels, valves, piping), ensuring operational continuity and reliability. \- Handle and operate electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with current technical standards and safety procedures, guaranteeing efficient and safe operation. \- Carry out switching operations on medium and low voltage equipment for partial or total de-energizing or energizing of the system, following supervisor's instructions and area procedures. \- Connect and disconnect electrical and mechanical equipment or components by applying established safety protocols and verifying safe working conditions. \- Enter and update technical information in the Maximo maintenance management system, recording work orders, materials used, and execution observations. \- Inspect the operational status of electromechanical components (motors, seals, couplings, pumping systems, panels), reporting any deviations or anomalies detected. \- Maintain and care for tools, measuring equipment, and work elements, ensuring their proper use and preservation. \- Assist in emergency maneuvers or operational contingencies under supervisor's instructions, ensuring a safe and timely response.
