Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant / Apprentice Chef for a supermarket cafeteria in Las Condes, to supervise cold/hot kitchen stations, assist the head chef, and perform mise en place. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise cold or hot kitchen station 2. Assist the head chef in food preparation 3. Perform mise en place We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant / Apprentice Chef for a supermarket cafeteria located in Las Condes. * **Net salary:** $627,000 / $636,000 net, including extended benefits + meal allowance at the cafeteria. * **Rotating shift 6x1**: AM shift: 07:00–15:00 hrs / PM shift: 12:00–20:00 hrs or 11:00–19:00 hrs **Requirements:** * Technical qualification in gastronomy, higher technical degree, or relevant courses is desirable. * Experience as a kitchen assistant (food handling). **Responsibilities:** * Supervise and take charge of cold or hot kitchen station. * Assist the head chef and chef in food preparation. * Perform **mise en place**. * Coordinate the team together with the chef.
