Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior SYSADMIN for a critical public-sector project, responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the organization’s technological infrastructure to ensure operational continuity and information security. Key Highlights: 1. Central role in operational continuity and information security. 2. Collaboration with development, database (DB), and project teams. 3. Critical technology project within a public-sector organization. We require a **Senior SYSADMIN** for a critical technology project within a **public-sector organization**, responsible for **managing, optimizing, and securing the institutional technological infrastructure**. The position plays a central role in **operational continuity**, **information security**, and **production platform stability**, working collaboratively with development, database, and project management teams. The selected professional must perform duties **on-site** and maintain **full availability throughout the entire project duration**. Mandatory Requirements **Applications failing to meet all the following criteria will not be considered** * Minimum of **9 verifiable years** of professional experience as a SYSADMIN, Systems Administrator, or IT Infrastructure Administrator. * At least **1 year of verifiable experience** in public-sector institutions. * Demonstrable experience administering **Linux servers in production environments**, preferably **Red Hat Enterprise Linux**. * Experience in infrastructure management, **resolution of critical incidents**, and operational continuity. * Availability of **formal employment certificates**, signed or stamped, specifying: Position held, Duties performed, Start and end dates, Institution name, Contact details. * Professional or technical degree in Information Technology (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computing Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT Technician, or equivalent). * Certification of **at least 5 training courses**, each with a minimum of **10 instructional hours**, covering: Cybersecurity and information security, Linux administration and security, Containers (Docker and/or Kubernetes). * Availability to work **on-site in downtown Santiago** for the full duration of the project. **Required Technical Knowledge** * Advanced Linux system administration. * Server hardening and security. * Container management using Docker and/or Kubernetes. * Infrastructure monitoring and performance analysis. * Production incident management and resolution. * Technical documentation of configurations and implemented improvements. * Desirable knowledge of **Oracle and/or SQL Server** database engines. **Application Process** Interested candidates must submit: * **Updated CV** * **Course certificates** * **Proof of professional experience** * **Monthly net salary expectations** to the email: **carlos.leal@fdsolutions.cl** Please include the following subject line in your email: **“Application for Senior SYSADMIN – Public Sector Project”** Incomplete applications or those lacking documentary support will not be considered.
