Job Summary: We are seeking integrated Data Center operators to strengthen the integrated operational model between Critical Infrastructure and IT, ensuring operational continuity. Key Highlights: 1. Operate a Data Center under an integrated Critical Infrastructure and IT model. 2. Serve as the first level of response to events, alarms, and incidents. 3. Support the installation, rack mounting, and organization of equipment in racks. A technology-sector company is seeking ***integrated Data Center operators*** to join its team and reinforce the integrated operational model between Critical Infrastructure and Information Technologies (IT), aligned with commitments to operational continuity and service quality. **Conditions:** * Shift Schedule: **24x7 rotating shifts.** * Work Mode: **On-site.** * Work Location: Santiago. * Contract Type: Direct with client. Fixed-term for 3 months, then indefinite based on performance. * **Net Salary: $800.000** **Primary Responsibilities:** * Execute daily Data Center operations under an integrated Critical Infrastructure and Information Technology model, ensuring * Serve as the first level of response to events, alarms, and incidents affecting physical infrastructure or IT services. * Coordinate and promptly communicate incidents among Infrastructure, IT, and external vendors. * Operate and monitor critical Data Center systems, including electrical power, backup systems (UPS, switchboards, PDUs), cooling, and associated systems. * Perform operational and support tasks during preventive and corrective maintenance per O&M procedures. * Verify environmental and electrical conditions in the server room (temperature, humidity, loads, alarms). * Support equipment installation, rack mounting, structured cabling, labeling, and organization in racks. * Coordinate customer visits for networking equipment commissioning and/or incident resolution. * Perform hardware transportation, installation, or replacement (Router, Switch, Firewall, Antennas, Telephone, etc.). * Manage and document performed tasks in the ticketing system. * Other duties related to the position. **Profile and Experience:** * Minimum 1–3 years of experience in: Data Center operations, technical rooms, or critical environments. IT operational support and/or critical infrastructure support. * Operational knowledge of: Data Center infrastructure (power, cooling, racks). UPS systems, electrical switchboards, and PDUs. IT equipment: servers, switches, storage, and structured cabling. * Understanding of: 24x7 mission-critical environment operations. O&M procedures and incident management. Good practices for order, labeling, and documentation in the server room. * Desirable basic knowledge of: Infrastructure and IT platform monitoring. Operational continuity and contingency response. Electrical safety regulations and safe work practices. Salary: $800.000 per hour Work Location: On-site employment
