WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU *"This job posting is governed by Law 21.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market."* **GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:** --------------------------------- Supervise and control the daily work of the technical team in the workshop, ensuring compliance with maintenance and repair schedules, work quality, operational continuity, and Sandvik’s high safety standards. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** -------------------------- * Supervise and coordinate the workshop’s technical team. * Allocate resources, personnel, tools, and equipment according to the weekly schedule. * Ensure compliance with the workshop’s preventive and corrective maintenance plan. * Guarantee quality, reliability, and timely delivery of completed work. * Authority to stop any unsafe (critical) work. * Ensure compliance with Sandvik’s EHS standards and procedures. * Review and monitor AST/ART, EHS/360 reportability, and mandatory records. * Maintain up-to-date operational and workshop control records. * Request spare parts and manage backlog according to schedule and component hours. * Keep workshop tools and equipment available and in good condition. * Promptly communicate operational deviations to management. * Provide technical support and guidance to staff. * Ensure order and cleanliness in work areas (housekeeping). * Lead tracking of team performance indicators: performance, climate, training, RIHH. * Transfer knowledge and develop the team (coaching, training). * Comply with and enforce internal policies: vacations, equity, code of conduct, etc. * Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements associated with the position. * **Does not perform direct maintenance; only supervises and controls tasks.** **YOUR PROFILE:** -------------- * Technician or Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervision roles within workshops or industrial maintenance. * Knowledge of maintenance, equipment management, and root cause analysis. * Competencies in leadership, communication, and operational safety. * Basic technical English (mandatory). **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** ---------- * Availability to work administrative shifts or rotating shifts, as required by the company. * Class B driver’s license, minimum 3 years’ validity (mandatory). * Class D driver’s license (desirable). * Residence in **Santiago** (mandatory).
