Job Summary: You will support the assurance of technical security controls by collecting and documenting evidence and metrics, and contributing to the correct implementation of controls across infrastructure, cloud, IAM, and platforms. Support the assurance of technical security controls by collecting and documenting evidence and metrics, ensuring defined controls are correctly implemented across infrastructure, cloud, IAM, and platforms. Learn about the challenges awaiting you in the Cybersecurity Engineer role: * Collect and consolidate evidence of control implementation against checklists, standards, and reference frameworks (CIS Controls, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001\), under the guidance of senior engineers. * Support the development and updating of technical security dashboards: hardening coverage, vulnerability status, cloud posture, and IAM metrics. * Document the status of controls, findings, and metrics following Chapter-defined criteria and templates. * Execute security data queries and extractions from designated sources (SIEM, CSPM, scanners, CMDB). * Use AI to understand metrics, control frameworks, and technical data, and to generate draft reports—reviewing outputs with senior staff before sharing. * Support basic automation of data collection (simple scripts) under supervision. * Escalate high-criticality findings or situations not covered by existing procedures in a timely manner. * Actively learn Chapter standards, tools, and methodologies for metrics. What We Need From You: * Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts: vulnerabilities, controls, and hardening best practices. * Foundational data analysis and spreadsheet skills; interest in visualization (Excel and, preferably, Power BI or Grafana). * Scripting fundamentals (Python or PowerShell) and willingness to develop them. * Conceptual familiarity with control frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO/IEC 27001\). **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related field.
