Position Objective: Assess, analyze, and execute activities related to the protection, detection, and containment of events that may impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, by managing cybersecurity tools and controls. Main Responsibilities: Administer and supervise third-party-managed security platforms and solutions. Participate in the design and implementation of cybersecurity controls and tools. Protect technological infrastructure, networks, and corporate systems. Monitor security events and support incident investigations. Execute containment and response measures against threats. Manage security platform configurations. Detect and block malicious or suspicious traffic. Participate in technical vulnerability management processes. Analyze security incidents, gaps, and events. Prepare technical reports, metrics, and improvement proposals. Support Information Security and Cybersecurity projects. Review emerging threats, trends, and intrusion methods. Actively serve as the first line of defense against incidents. Requirements: Professional degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles in Information Security or Cybersecurity. Knowledge of data networks (routing, switching) and communication equipment. Experience implementing and administering security solutions: Firewalls (preferably distributed), Endpoint Security (EDR/corporate antivirus). Proficiency with security tools (SIEM) and/or experience operating a Security Operations Center (SOC). Experience in security incident management and response. Knowledge of Ethical Hacking, penetration testing, and security standards. Desirable certifications in Cybersecurity or Information Security. Required Competencies: Strong analytical ability.
