DESCRIPTION A leading Chilean seed production company is seeking a Seed Agronomist to carry out the following responsibilities: * Plan and manage seed multiplication and production programs, both in field and greenhouse. * Supervise agricultural activities, including soil preparation, planting, phytosanitary management, irrigation, harvesting, and post-harvest processes. * Monitor varietal performance and conduct technical follow-up of plots designated for production. * Coordinate temporary staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with quality and safety protocols. * Record and maintain technical information, field reports, and traceability documentation for each batch. * Apply monitoring and control technologies such as sensors, automated irrigation, and weather stations. * Manage post-harvest operations, including selection, drying, packaging, and preparation of batches for dispatch. * Support in variety evaluation and selection, as well as seed stock and inventory management. Ensure compliance with current agricultural and certification regulations (SAG, GMP, and others). * REQUIREMENTS * Academic background: Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Technician, or related fields. * Knowledge of crop management in greenhouse and open field, quality control, irrigation management, phytosanitary control, and agricultural technologies. * Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in seed multiplication or technified seedling production.
