This includes implementing methodologies at all levels of complexity and being responsible for compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies and standards. Key responsibilities include: * Acid digestion of samples. * Gravimetric analysis. * Colorimetric and potentiometric analysis. * Knowledge of primary methods for assigning values to certified reference materials. * Classical and instrumental volumetry (automatic titrators). * Operation and maintenance (filter and reagent replacement) of elemental analyzers (LECO). * Knowledge of instrumental techniques such as Atomic Absorption Spectrometry and ICP-OES plasma spectroscopy. * Familiarity with NCh ISO/IEC 17025. * Handling of hazardous substances (DS-43). * Knowledge of the International Metrology System. **Requirements** * Formal Education: Higher Technical Training in Chemistry, Laboratory Analyst, Chemical Analyst, or related fields. * Experience **2 years in a minerals laboratory.** **ICP operation experience** **LECO operation experience** **Atomic Absorption equipment operation experience** **Knowledge of Quality Standards.** **Proficiency in mineral analysis techniques or methodologies.** **Residence in Calama** **Additional Information** **IMPORTANT: Applicants must reside in Calama; the contract does not cover relocation or travel expenses from other regions.** **BENEFITS** * Birth and Christmas gifts for employees' children * Life insurance coverage from the date of joining the organization * Special leave entitlements * Benefits through Caja Los Andes and associated agreements
