The approximate duration is 6 months. **Job Mission:** * Supervise and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and occupational health and safety standards related to landfill operations. * Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with landfill activities, developing and implementing control and mitigation strategies. * Design, execute, and monitor accident and occupational disease prevention programs, including safe work procedures and emergency protocols. * Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to detect substandard conditions and actions, proposing and implementing necessary corrective measures. * Design and deliver occupational health and safety training and awareness programs for all personnel assigned by our client. * Maintain detailed records of incidents, accidents, inspections, trainings, and implemented corrective actions. * Investigate incidents and accidents, determining root causes and proposing measures to prevent recurrence. * Actively collaborate with our client to ensure safety practices are integrated into all operations and projects. * Advise our client and work teams on all matters related to risk prevention. **What are we looking for in you to join this experience?** * Degree in Risk Prevention Engineering (mandatory). * Essential minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in sanitary landfills or waste management industries. * Availability to work 2 days per week, conducting 9-hour visits. * Mandatory own vehicle to travel to the project site and valid driver's license (mandatory). * Residence in the local area. * Technical knowledge of: Chilean occupational health and safety legislation (Law 16\.744 and associated decrees); specific regulations and standards for sanitary landfill operations and waste handling; risk identification and assessment tools (IPER matrices, AST, etc.); occupational health and safety management systems (OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001\). **Other conditions:** * 2 weekly 9-hour visits to the San Rafael plant. Within each month, 1 or 2 visits to the Talca and Linares plants will be conducted; these will not be extra days but will be adjusted within the 2 weekly days. * Possibility of providing additional support to the company as overtime in case of an accident or emergency. * Availability to work in a hostile environment regarding bad odors. * Availability to use your own vehicle.
