Serve as the technical reference for network infrastructure. **Job Description** ---------------------- Plan and execute regional projects for the Falabella conglomerate, minimizing operational impact and ensuring excellence in execution. We are seeking a Network Engineer responsible for coordinating, designing, implementing, and supervising the deployment of telecommunications projects across Falabella Group data centers and/or campuses in Chile, Peru, and Colombia. The ideal candidate must possess solid experience in Network Security, Routing & Switching, and Data Center architectures, and will be responsible for the technical execution and validation of network infrastructure projects—actively participating in architecture definition, implementation, testing, production rollout, as well as documentation and controlled handover to the Operations team—ensuring service continuity and preventing incidents that could disrupt business operations. Key Responsibilities of the Network Engineer * Design and implement network architectures for Data Center, Campus, and hybrid connectivity projects. * Develop and validate high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) designs. * Participate in production implementations, migrations, and changes, ensuring minimal operational impact. * Coordinate technically with vendors, integrators, and internal teams. * Define and execute test plans, rollback plans, and post-implementation validations. * Ensure proper handover of implemented solutions to the Operations team, including technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer. * Ensure compliance with technical, security, and operational standards. * Serve as the technical reference for project and operations teams. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Degree in Network and Connectivity Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in network and telecommunications engineering. * Minimum 3 years of experience implementing networks in Data Centers, Campuses, and hybrid environments. * Experience in highly critical corporate environments, preferably multi-site or regional. * Cisco (Advanced Routing & Switching, Campus, Data Center, and Cisco ACI). * Network Security: Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet. * Cloud Networking: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. * Resilient architectures, high availability, and operational continuity. * Operational best practices (documentation, handover, ITIL/ITSM). * Desired certifications: Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure.
