Requirements: Knowledge of underground mining, ideally Block Caving. Understanding of unit operations in underground mining. Experience or interest in numerical geomechanical modeling. Knowledge of instrumentation and monitoring in underground mining. Ability to analyze geological, geotechnical, operational, and monitoring information. Rigor, critical thinking, and strong technical writing skills. Proficiency in modeling or data analysis software such as FLAC3D, RS2/RS3, Abaqus, Python, or others. Key Responsibilities: Review, organize, and interpret underground mining technical information. Support analysis of geomechanical and operational models. Integrate instrumentation, monitoring, and technical record data. Prepare summaries, tables, brief reports, and technical presentations.
