Job Responsibilities * Design, development, and maintenance of robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot * Implementation of cloud-oriented services, preferably on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); however, experience with other public clouds is highly valued. * Management and optimization of Oracle databases. * Integration of services via BUS mechanisms (Enterprise Service Bus). * Application of sound development practices, ensuring clean, secure, efficient code with comprehensive test coverage. **Responsibilities and Authorities** Responsibilities: * Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams following agile methodologies. * Automation of unit and integration tests (backend and frontend). * Automation of tasks using scheduling tools such as Control-M (desirable). * Ensuring security in developed solutions by adhering to standards and best practices in Secure Coding. * Support and participation in automating the software lifecycle using DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube. * Clear and structured documentation of developments and processes carried out. * Preferably, experience in the financial industry (banking, insurance, fintech, etc.). * Environment Management * Coordinate and manage environment provisioning (development, QA, pre-production, and production) according to project or team requirements. * Monitor the availability and proper configuration of environments required for deployments and testing. * Collaborate with the bank’s technical teams to resolve environment-related incidents. * Management of Requests in Bank Workflows * Manage requests within internal bank workflows (APM, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, etc.), ensuring response timeliness and quality. * Track requirements and authorizations necessary for implementing changes and deployments. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure requests progress according to established SLAs. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a backend developer with Java (8+), ideally in scalable enterprise solutions. Proficiency in Spring Boot and its ecosystem. Experience working with Oracle databases (query development, optimization, modeling). Solid experience with integration BUS services (e.g., Oracle Service Bus, MuleSoft, IBM Integration, etc.). Experience developing and implementing solutions on cloud platforms, preferably OCI; AWS, Azure, or GCP experience is considered desirable. Automation of unit and integration tests (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, etc.). Strong knowledge of secure programming (OWASP, API/REST security handling, secret management). Proficiency with version control tools (Git), continuous integration and deployment (Jenkins), containerization (Docker), and code quality control (SonarQube). Ability to create reusable, documented, service-oriented code (REST APIs). ******Desirable** Experience with automation and scheduling tools such as Control-M. Experience in front-end component development using Angular. Certifications in Java, Spring, Oracle Cloud, DevOps, Angular, or other relevant areas. Knowledge or experience with other languages in the Java ecosystem or reactive microservices. Experience in the financial sector.
