In this opportunity, we are looking for a FinOps Analyst responsible for managing and optimizing the financial aspects of the company’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment between technological operations and financial objectives. Guarantee cost efficiency, financial visibility, and strategic planning within the context of cloud operational finance. Key responsibilities include: Cloud Financial Management: * Monitor and analyze spending on Google Cloud cloud services, including continuous review of utilized resources and services, and periodically preparing and updating cloud infrastructure cost and consumption reports to support budget compliance. * Present cloud financial performance reports to management and other key teams. Translate technical financial data into reports understandable by non-technical stakeholders. * Use cloud financial management tools such as CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, AWS Cost Explorer, among others, for cost monitoring and analysis. * Stay current with industry trends and FinOps best practices to optimize processes. Planning and Budgeting: * Collaborate with technology and operations teams in developing annual cloud infrastructure budgets and cost estimates to ensure cloud cost projections align with business needs. * Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud usage. Cost Optimization: * Propose strategies to reduce costs without compromising performance or security. * Implement and manage cost-saving initiatives, such as reserved instances, capacity management, or architectural adjustments. * Conduct periodic audits to identify potential cost deviations and take corrective actions.
