Analyze equipment failures and propose solutions **Job Description** We are seeking a **Mechanical Area Manager** to lead mechanical maintenance and management activities, ensuring equipment and facility availability, reliability, and proper operation. You will be responsible for coordinating the technical team and contributing to continuous process improvement. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and supervise preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities. * Lead and coordinate the technical team, assigning tasks and supervising work completion. * Monitor the condition and operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. * Coordinate with Operations to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity. * Analyze failures and propose solutions to improve equipment reliability. * Control the use of spare parts, tools, materials, and area resources. * Prepare maintenance reports and track performance indicators. **Requirements** * Professional or technical degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics**, or related field. * **3 years or more of experience** in industrial mechanical maintenance. * Experience leading technical teams or supervising maintenance work. * Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. * Proficiency in **Excel and ERP systems or maintenance management platforms**. * Ability to analyze failures, solve problems, and make technical decisions. * Leadership, planning, organization, and results orientation.
