The purpose of this role is to advise and execute environmental activities for the Environmental Department of Aconcagua Refinery, focusing on environmental management, regulatory compliance, environmental monitoring, and environmental project evaluation, among others; as well as monitoring and controlling Aconcagua Refinery’s environmental performance through department-specific activities. Key responsibilities include: reviewing, applying, and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental and sector-specific regulations governing Aconcagua Refinery and its operations, as well as enforcing ENAP’s internal standards and those of Aconcagua Refinery. Actively participate and provide technical advice to the Environmental Department and other refinery operations on environmental topics, biodiversity, and natural resources (e.g., flora, fauna, soils, archaeology, etc.). Formulate, manage, and process sector-specific environmental permits. Communicate with various environmental authorities. Support and lead the development and environmental processing of investment projects, as well as environmental evaluations of internal change projects at Aconcagua Refinery. Respond to environmental authority inspections and information requests, documenting, where applicable, findings and environmental compliance deviations.
