Continuously seeking to add value to the mining business through continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in project management within the Andina Division’s Project Management Department, ensuring compliance with—and enforcement of—the Division’s and Corporation’s established policies, standards, and procedures regarding safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage all stages of the Project lifecycle across profile, pre-feasibility, feasibility, and execution phases. * Lead the development, monitoring, and control of changes in the various project management plans of the Project Management Department. * Lead the identification of methodologies and procedures to fully and timely ensure and control the objectives of assigned projects. Ensuring proper execution of project management processes for each phase of the project lifecycle. * Monitor compliance with internal project targets, aligned with the project’s objectives, commitments, and specific execution or management plans developed to meet them. * Ensure the incorporation of economic and risk analyses into decisions made during project development. * Analyze and define budgets and execution plans. * Represent the interests of the respective Project Directorate in all matters during project execution. Make administrative and business decisions on its behalf. * Develop and propose strategies for project studies, evaluation, and execution, consolidated with the Project Execution Plan (PEP), applying Divisional, Corporate, and industry best practices. * Lead implementation of the strategies defined in the PEP for the complete and timely acquisition of equipment, materials, and contracting of services. * Efficiently manage required third-party resources and services within the framework of planned project objectives, scope, costs, timelines, and quality. * Keep the respective Project Director timely informed about relevant variables in project development, especially concerning cost and timeline projections. * Define, monitor, and ensure the formulation of technical specifications for tendering services required for the development of various project stages, establishing contracts and strategic alliances with key technology, equipment, and service providers to ensure achievement of project objectives. * Lead safety, occupational health, and environmental management throughout project development. * Participate in project closure—whether completed or suspended—and in full project activation. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Application Requirements:** * Must hold a University Professional Degree in Civil Engineering in any specialty; Construction Engineering and/or Civil Construction. * Must have 5 years of experience in large-scale copper mining. * Must have at least 8 years of specific experience in direct project management. * Must have at least 8 years of experience in Project Administration, knowledge of evaluation techniques, project scheduling and control, and Contract Administration. * Must possess health compatible with the position. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Specialized training in contract administration or project management, PMI, IPA. * Experience with IPA and PMI methodologies. * Intermediate level written and spoken English. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract: Indefinite-term. * Contractual Position: Project Manager A. * Work Location: Andina Division \- Los Andes * Working Hours: Monday to Thursday. * Number of Vacancies: 01\. **Application Deadline: Wednesday, June 03, 2026\.** Application Closing Time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am aware of the conditions, according to Codelco regulations, that could constitute an incompatibility for holding the position to which I am applying and, consequently, affect my continuity in the process.
